A student who is just beginning to learn English, or who has no prior knowledge of English. With the help of our tutors potential students will start from the basics, learning initial greetings, most used vocabulary and speech repetition to ensure correct pronunciation as the student progresses. At this crucial level, foundations of grammar in the Past, Present and Future are introduced. Autonomous student learning is expected at this level to maximise acquisition of language re. Verb structures/ conjugations. Our tutors will give students confidence to proudly say “I speak basic English” and hold a conversation about very basic personal, family and job-related language. Correctly formulated responses to questions asked in slow, clear speech in a relevant topic.
With the help of our specially designed M.A.D.E International course books, Intermediate students will study and practical more complex forms of the initial introduction of the Past, Present and Future. Application of these will help to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. Our tutor will roleplay and teach students to deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the English is spoken and communicate effectively.
This advanced level will ensure that our students can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. As well as reinforcing more complex grammar structures, colloquial language such as idioms and metaphors will be taught to best prepare learners for the fast paced conversations which native speakers often engage in. Following completion of this final M.A.D.E International course book, successful students will be invited to take part in our English for specific reasons ie. IELTS, Business English, Legal English etc.
